Benna Iqbal is a computer programmer and an entrepreneur. He holds a BE in Computer Engineering from the American University of Sharjah and pursues his Executive Education with Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Having started as an independent software developer in 2006, he established Global Invisions, a software development firm in 2011, at the age of eighteen. The company gained momentum in the Asian and Middle East Market by providing software platforms to various businesses over the next two years. Having served as a consulting firm and executed many product development projects in areas including manufacturing, retail, start-up ecosystems, the company diversified with a new division in Engineering in 2015. As a part of its diversification process, he headed the acquisition of two companies within the Energy sector in the Middle East. The group has since then expanded into a diverse organization with independent verticals across different industries, including Energy, Engineering, and Investments. He currently serves as the Founder and Chief Executive of GI Group Holdings, and overlooks businesses under its group umbrella. GI Group Holdings is currently based out of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and its companies serves clients across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
